How Much is it to join the Association?
- Standard Membership - £7.00
- Standard Membership is open to those aged between 16 years and 60 years.
- Senior Membership - £5.00
- Senior Membership is open to those aged 60 years and over.
- Junior Membership - £3.00
- Junior Membership is open to those aged 10 to 16 years.
- Group Membership - £12.00
- Group Membership is open to groups of a similar nature or who have a shared interest.
- Corporate Membership - £20.00
- Corporate Membership is open to businesses, councils, libraries, schools, archives, and similar bodies.
- What do you get for your membership?
- Membership Card.
- Quarterly Members Newsletter.
- Email Newsletter (Optional).
- Half price entry to the museum (when re-opened).
- Reduced entry to special exhibitions.
- Opportunity to attend talks/presentations by members and outside bodies.
- Free archive research facility (for personal use only).
- Opportunity to take part in trips and excursions organised by the Association.
- How long does membership last for?
The membership year runs from the 1st January to the 31st December each year. Members who join between 1st January and 31st September shall pay the full subscription fee for that year. New members joining from 1st October shall pay ⅓ of the ordinary fee for the remainder of that year.
Current members should, ideally, renew their membership following the issue of a reminder letter in December, and shall have until March to do so, following which they shall be required to re-register as a new member.
