White Hart Hotel Staff around 1919

This photograph has been kindly sent to us by John Buckley.

It is of the domestic staff at the White Hart Hotel taken in the courtyard in about 1919.

Mr Buckley can name two of the people on the photo The second on the right is Mr Buckley’s mother, then called Norah Henchey The second on the left is Fannie Buckley.  She married Charlie Allison in 1922 and became Mr Buckley’s Aunt.

Mr Buckley says that Fannie worked as a 'tweeny' and Norah as a kitchen maid. Both had emigrated from North Kerry.
